Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and a hashed version of your password. We never store plain-text passwords.

Usage Data

Code Context

When you use the Nilux CLI, your code context (file contents, project structure, and related metadata) is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing. Nilux AI does not permanently store your code on our servers. Code context is held in memory for the duration of your active session and is cleared when the session ends. Third-party AI providers may temporarily cache processed data on their servers to optimize performance during your session, subject to their own data retention policies.

Technical Data

Our servers automatically log certain technical information when you access the Service. These logs are used for security monitoring and service improvement, and are periodically purged.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Nilux AI Service
• Calculate and deduct costs from your account balance based on your usage
• Display usage statistics and billing information on your dashboard
• Improve, debug, and optimize the Service
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Communicate with you about your account, including support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit, secure password storage, and restricted access to production systems.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

To provide the Service, we transmit certain data to third-party AI model providers for processing. This includes your code context, file contents, and queries. The specific providers we use may change over time as we improve the Service.

We also use third-party services for auxiliary features such as web search. In these cases, only search queries are transmitted — your code and file contents are not shared with search providers.

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We select providers that maintain appropriate data handling practices and security standards.

Account information is retained until you request deletion of your account. Server logs are rotated and purged periodically.

• Access: You can view your account information, usage statistics, and billing data through your dashboard at any time.
• Correction: You can update your account information through the dashboard. For changes not supported through the UI, contact support.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting nilline2017@gmail.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
• Portability: Upon request, we can provide your data in a commonly used machine-readable format.

Nilux AI uses minimal cookies and browser storage:

• Authentication: Secure tokens are stored in your browser to maintain your login session.
• Preferences: Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser.

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics services, or advertising cookies. We do not collect data about your browsing behavior outside of the Nilux AI website.

Nilux AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the Service or via the email address associated with your account. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the Service and request account deletion.
